DAY 1- ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU: D
Departure from your place and landing at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will come to pick you up and overnight at Kathmandu Hotel.
DAY 2 – EXPLORE ANCIENT KATHMANDU VALLEY: B/L/D
Today we will visit the historic Kathmandu’s main attraction & UNESCO world heritage sites Kathmandu Durbar Square and Hanuman Dhoka. We will pray at Swoyambhunath Temple Nepal’s holiest Buddhist Chaityas which was built by king Manadeva in the 13th Century and important religious site for Buddhism and understand the principles of Lord Buddha. During the daytime, we will head towards another durbar square called Patan Durbar Square which is very rich in arts and crafts. We will observe the Newari culture and traditions while visiting Patan city. End of the day we will go to Nepal’s historic city of Bhaktapur which has its own proud Newari Culture & Language
DAY 3: KATHMANDU/KRITIPUR: B/L/D
Today we will head towards 8th-century-old Newari town also the cultural capital of Nepal Bhaktapur city. This cultural city is a living museum of arts, handicrafts, and heritage sites displaying the vibrant depth of Newari culture. Great festivals of local Newari people their lifestyles, rituals, traditional dance, and various Jatras are giving life to the intangible heritage of this city. We will also visit the well-preserved Bhaktapur Durbar Square which is also the UNESCO world heritage site recognized in 1979 AD and taste the locally produced Juju Dhau (Famous Yogurt). Depart the city to Kritipur for a unique overnight stay at a Kritipur community homestay. Learn about the small town of Kritipur heritage and experience the local lifestyle staying locally by enjoying local organic food.
DAY 4: PHARPING TO POKHARA: B/D
This day early morning after your breakfast journey starts from Kritipur to Pokhara by scenic drive. You will enjoy the magical landscape and white water Trishuli river. During the ride, you will also enjoy the farmlands, beautiful villages and understand the lifestyle of Nepali people. Upon arrival to Pokhara, you will be staying at the beautiful Pokhara hotel with organic Nepali food and the rest of the day for relaxation around the Phewa lake pathway.
DAY 5: AROUND POKHARA VALLEY & BEGNAS LAKE: B/L/D
This day early morning after breakfast we will visit the Iconic peace pagoda where you can feel & immerse into the vibe of Buddhism and mantras of peace. On the way back, we will visit the local social enterprise women’s skill development center and learn more about women’s involvement in handicraft making and organization efforts towards women’s empowerment. After a day time, we head towards Pokhara’s beautiful Begnas lake situated under the majestic landscape of the Annapurna ranges.
DAY 6: VILLAGE HIKING & ARABICA COFFEE & BEEKEEPING EXPERIENCE: B/L/D
On this day we will visit the various social projects based in Sarangkot village by hiking & experience village life. We will learn more about Arabica coffee farming and the entire coffee processing method by visiting a non-profit community-based organization at Padeli village. We will also meet with small coffee farmers and understand their challenges in organic Coffee farming and Beekeeping. We will also taste the organic coffee produced locally and learn about the environmental aspect of Beekeeping & Arabica coffee farming to cope with climate change & economic sustainability. Overnight at a beautiful guest house in Sarangkot hill.
DAY 7: SARANGKOT SUNRISE & HIKE TO POTHANA VILLAGE: B/L/D
Early morning, we will go to the Sarangkot Hill station for the magnificent sunrise over the Annapurna Dhaulagiri Mountain ranges which is one of the best lifetime memories over 8000 m for this kind of experience. We will do the scenic drive from Sarangkot to Naudanda and hike up to the traditional Gurung village called Pothana which is on the lap of the Annapurna Dhaulagiri ranges.
DAY 8: ENJOY THE NATURE & ECO LODGE: B/L/D
Today will be a relaxation day and enjoy yourself more with nature. After enjoying the local organic food we will head towards the ecolodge and enjoy the vibrance of silence and more into the Natural life. Overnight at a beautiful eco-lodge enjoying the wildlife & organic food.
DAY 9: BACK TO POKHARA: B/L/D
This morning we will hike early hour for downhill and reach stone thatched beautiful world-famous Dhampus Village and get more insights into rural life and its vibrant Gurung culture. We will hike up to the Phedi and drive towards the lakeside.
DAY 10: POKHARA TO CHITWAN: B/D
After exploring the colorful Pokhara Valley we will head towards Asia’s best National Park Chitwan to see endangered one-horn Rhinos and many wildlife activities. We will do the scenic drive to Sauraha Chitwan and upon your arrival at Sauraha, you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day we will do a Jeep Safari over the National Park and enjoy the wildlife & sunset view from the Rapti river beach.
DAY 11: EXPLORATION OF CHITWAN: B/L/D
Today after breakfast, we will do Canoe ride over the Rapti River which will be an excellent opportunity to see various beautiful birds around the national park area. Depending upon luck we may encounter rare species of crocodiles (Marsh Mugger and Fish-eating Gharial) which are native to Chitwan National Park. Jungle walking is one of the best experiences we will do and have a thrilling experience with various wildlife with licensed National Park guides. Overnight with Tharu community homestay.
DAY 12: EXPERIENCING THARU CULTURE & LIFESTYLE: B/L/D
Tharus are the natives of Nepal’s Terai region who have their own unique culture and tradition. Exploring the authentic lifestyle of Tharu people visiting their village is another interesting way to enjoy Nepal’s holidays. Experiencing their lifestyle and organic food is another great experience of authentic Nepal.
DAY 13: DRIVE BACK TO KATHMANDU: B/L/D
Final preparation back to Kathmandu via a scenic drive and enjoy the nightlife of Thamel.
