This route is originally developed by social entrepreneur Mahabir Pun (Magsaysay Award winner) considered the Nobel Prize of Asia.

This is also called ‘Carbon Neutral trek’ which focused on waste management within the villages and providing free and safe drinking water to all the villagers. During your Trek, you will be staying in community lodges (Homestays) operated by the local villagers of Parbat and Myagdi districts, a perfect combination to get in touch with local culture, rural lifestyle, and interact with Nepal’s ethnic Magar people. The money spent on accommodation and food on these community homestays will not only go to lodge owners but some part of the fund goes into helping to sustain and development of community schools and hospitals that fall under this area. The main attraction of this trek is Mohare Danda (Hill) which is situated along the world’s deepest Gorge called ‘Kali Gandaki Gorge’ with an altitude of 3300m. This is a perfect place to see the stunning sunrise and sunset view and also covers the great scenic views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayan ranges while walking during the day. Another attraction of this trek is Khopra Danda, Muldai Peak & Ghandruk Village.
