The World Peace Pagoda also called ‘Shanti Stupa’ in Nepali is a popular destination in the southwest of Pokhara valley and top things to do list in Pokhara as mentioned by TripAdvisor and Lonely Planet, situated at an altitude of almost 1000 meters above the Rani Ban (Queen Forest). This stupa is the symbol of peace where the idols of Lord Buddha from Japan, Srilanka & Thailand have been installed.
Balanced on a narrow ridge high above Phewa Lake, the brilliant-white World Peace Pagoda was constructed by Buddhist monks from the Japanese Nipponzan Myohoji Organisation. Visitors can enjoy amazing views of the Annapurna- Dhaulagiri Himalayan range, beautiful Phewa Lake, Pokhara Valley, and Sarangkot Hill Station.

Departure from Hallanchowk lakeside or from our office your English-speaking guide will take you to the boat station and you will do boating across Phewa lake, climb the beautiful forests and reach the famous world peace pagoda which is one of the 80 peace pagodas worldwide to symbolize the peace thorough out the world.
You will visit the world peace Pagoda and see the beautiful Annapurna Dhaulagiri Himalayan range on the North side on top of that you can also view the Full view of Phewa Lake, Sarangkot, and Pokhara Valley. On the way, return your guide will take you to David’s fall. It is believed that this deadly waterfall took the life of a tourist named Davis, who fell down into the canal and was never found, hence the name Davis fall, in his memory by the people of Pokhara. This is also the outlet of Phewa Lake and the water joins the Furse Khola south of Pokhara Valley.
