This short hiking very near Pokhara valley is one the must things to-do list while coming to Pokhara and is suitable for all types of people who want to taste the soft adventure and experience the village life of Nepal. As we set out on our journey, we’ll meet Nepali villagers as we trek through mountains and jungle to scenic overlooks of Phewa Lake and Pokhara city. Watch as paragliders soar as we journey through the jungle to Pandeli Village with an uphill walk to interact with the local villagers of Sarangkot and Pandeli.
We will stay overnight at a beautiful family-owned local guest house with Nepali Organic Food. The following day, we’ll see the sunrise over the Annapurna Dhaulagiri Himalayan range as we stand atop Sarangkot Hill. We’ll then trek to Naudanda Village, the gateway to the Annapurna conservation area. We’ll take a public bus back to Pokhara at the end of our journey.

DAY 1- HIKE TO SARANGKOT VILLAGE-B/L/D
After meeting at Lakeside Pokhara, we will start the hike following the shore of Phewa Lake from Hallan Chowk. Local fisherman at beautiful Phewa Lake, Rice terrace, Paragliding landing points, Paragliders above the blue sky, and uphill hike up to the Pandeli Village through the Jungle for another 1.5 hours (The best place to view Phewa Lake). This is a peaceful place with fresh air sitting under the Pipal tree at a traditional stone resting place ( Chautari). After some time to get rest at this beautiful place and do catching some photos, we will again hike to the top of Sarangkot village intreating with local villagers for our overnight stay in the Local Guesthouse.
DAY 2- HIKE TO NAUDANDA VILLAGE – B/L
This morning we will wake up early and hike to the famous view top of Sarangkot hill station where you can view the spectacular sunrise over the horizon. The white Himalayan range from this site is one of the best views in the world. The sun will gradually rise from the horizon and it will transfer the rays on the north side of the Annapurna Dhaulagiri Himalayan range which is one of the best experiences to do. After Breakfast, we will continue our Journey toward Naudanda Village (1720 M Altitude) gateway to the Annapurna region. Sarangkot Naudanda Hiking trail is a very famous old hiking route and we will encounter the beautiful Fishtail and other Himalayan ranges throughout the Journey on the left side and Hike is nature-friendly where you will only hear the sounds of birds through the middle of the community forest. In some parts of the trail, we can see the beautiful Rhododendron forest at Various points (During the Blooming Season). After reaching the Naudanda it’s time to return to Pokhara.
