Panchase hiking is considered a comparatively easy hiking route than other high-altitude treks of Nepal’s Himalayas and is suitable for all age groups and all fitness levels so, this is ideal hiking around the Pokhara region where you can go with your friends and family together. Panchase hill is situated at 2500m from the sea level and south-west direction of Pokhara city. You can view the stunning 360 degrees of great Himalayan peaks like Machhapuchhre (fishtail mountain), Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Lamjung, Manaslu, and Himchuli Himalayan ranges and this is the best place to see all those full-scale majestic Himalayan range from nearby Pokhara city. Panchase is also very famous as the Hindu holy pilgrimage site with very rich in biodiversity and cool weather conditions. There are more than 600 species of plants including the national flower Laliguras (Rhododendron). Around the Panchase forest conservation area, there are more than 143 species of orchids which is great heaven for researchers and biodiversity lovers.
While doing this adventurous hiking you will pass through many beautiful ethnic Gurung villages and chance to do interaction with the friendly local villagers. This hike will encounter various geographical terrains, deep gorges fast-flowing rivers coming down from the Himalayas, dense forest walks, rice paddies, rhododendron forests, old-style Nepali houses, birds & wildlife’s found in the Annapurna region. This region is also very rich in plant biodiversity where different plant species were protected and researched by the research organization. If you love nature then, this trail is perfect to hike and enjoy.

DAY 1: VISITING TO BHUMDI VILLAGE: L/D
Departure from Hallanchowk lakeside, our guide will join you to the rowing boat station and you will do boating across Phewa lake following hiking over beautiful forests, and reach the famous world peace pagoda which is one of the 80 peace pagodas worldwide to symbolize the peace throughout the world. From the world peace pagoda, you can see the stunning view of the Dhaulagiri Annapurna Himalayas ranges. After the peace pagoda, you will hike through the beautiful forest and visit another famous Shiva Statue in Pumdi village. After lunch and you will reach Lukum Swara village. At the end of the day, we will reach the Bhumdi village where you can have a chance to experience the Gurung and Brahmin village and learn about the local ethnic cultures and interact with local Nepali peoples.

DAY 2: BHUMDI TO PANCHASE BHANJYANG HIKING: B/L/D
After Early morning breakfast today, you will be walking through the wildlife-rich dense forest and we will encounter the Dhaulagiri- Annapurna Himalayas peaks throughout the various point of this jungle. Today will be good for nature lover hikers because we will diverse flora and fauna found in the Annapurna region of Nepal. If you are lucky, you will encounter monkeys, and various types of birds, and their songs from the corner of the jungle, and also rhododendron forests are memorizing to see (Flowering season). After some hour’s walks, we will reach Thulunchour village and will continue the jungle hike until we reach Panchase Bhanjyang which is 2065m altitude. From Panchase Bhanjyang, it is the best place to view the entire Annapurna Dhaulagiri Himalayan range, some views of Pokhara city and Phewa lake will be squeezed as a small pond on your eyes.

DAY 3: PANCHASE BHANJYANG TO BHADAURE: B/L/D
Today early morning we hike the old-fashioned stone steps up to the Panchase peak which is situated at 2,500m which is the highest point of this hike. From the Panchase viewpoint, if you are lucky and on time, as a bonus gift, you can see the beautiful sunrise over the edge of the horizon. This scene is very spectacular and slowly the sun’s rays will be on the Himalayan range turning it into a golden color that is beyond the word description. After viewing the sunrise and visiting at Hindu temple the walking trail will take us down to the village called ‘Alldanda’ which is also a dense forest walk. After a few hours of the Forest walk, we will reach the Bhadaure Village. We will stay overnight in a local homestay/ community homestay upon availability.

DAY 4: HIKING TO SARANGKOT POKHARA: B/L
Early morning after having fantastic local breakfast, we will do steep down hiking which is between the middle of old villages where you can have a closer look of Nepali village lifestyle and culture. You may also get chance to interact with local villagers, farmers and lovely children. After a few hours of walk, we will reach at Naudanda and the hiking will join to the Pokhara- Baglung Highway. From Naudanda you will hike through the beautiful Kaskikot village and finally reach to Sarangkot. Sarangkot is also the best place to see all the scenic mountain ranges, wide-angle view of Pokhara city and Phewa lake. After doing all these activities your guide will take you back to Hallanchowk, Pokhara.
